Currently we are awaiting for theMICHIGAN CONFERENCE to assign us a new pastor as Pastor Richard Mendoza has been reassigned to the churches of MANISTEE, IRONS, and FRANKFORT. We will greatly miss the Mendoza Family.
June is a very busy month for us in the Adventist church and Tawas is no exception to that. Starting next Friday here in Michigan we have camp meeting down at Great Lakes Adventist Academy in Clear Lake Michigan. Although many of our members will be down at camp meeting we will still hold our services as scheduled. We will just be missing some of our members. Please plan on visiting us as we worship our Wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For more information on Camp meeting please visit our calendar.
Want to be involved? There are a lot of opportunities to share your talents as a part of one of the ministries of our church. As a baptized member there are many areas for interested parties to serve. Do you like assisting the poor and less fortunate of the surrounding communities? What about helping in general just around the church by helping to keep it clean and presentable? Are you one that likes to be challenged? There are areas that you can help in these areas also. For more information you can contact the church.
We hope that you will join us for worship on Saturday morning or can attend one of the many other activities listed on our calendar.
